Save the Children is focused solely on protecting children and civilians.We call on all parties toimmediately cease hostilities and ensure that children, schools and hospitals are never targets.
We will continue to:
- Monitor potential threats to children and familieswhere we are already responding to humanitarian needs, which includes Afghanistan, Gaza and the West Bank, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan, Syria, Turkiye and Yemen.
- Distribute child-focused supplies to displaced families, including hygiene kits, mattresses, blankets, and other essentials.
- Advocatefor children’s safety and rights.
- Speak outwhen children are harmed or at risk.
- Do whatever it takesto help ensure every child has the chance to survive and have a future.
- Respond to the needs of children and familiesimpacted by airstrikeswhere we work.

Families across the region are facing extraordinary hardship, and Save the Children is working around the clock to deliver lifesaving support—everything from emergency health care and psychosocial support to safe spaces for children and essential supplies for families who have been displaced.
