WCK's Response to Flooding in Hawaiʻi (Mar. 2026)

, WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN INCORPORATED

Word Central Kitchen is working with community leaders on the islands of Oahu, Molokaʻi, and Maui, Hawaiʻi, where Kona Low storms have caused intense flooding and put the Wahiawa Dam on Oahu at risk of failure. Many families have already lost their homes, with some roadways flooded and impassable, especially on the North Shore of Oahu.

WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need.

By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made, nutritious meals to communities impacted by disasters quickly and effectively. We know that good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis.

With over 600 million meals served globally, WCK continues to bring relief, one plate at a time. Your donation today fuels this mission—helping us reach more people, faster, when they need it most.
