Be a lifeline for people in Lebanon and around the world

, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)

Despite the fragile ceasefire, attacks by Israeli forces have had a devastating impact on Lebanon’s health care system. One million people have been forcibly displaced by violence. People are in overcrowded shelters or living in their cars. Hospitals are overwhelmed. Health care is often out of reach for so many people.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières is still on the ground—providing urgent, free medical care where it’s needed most.

Our teams continue to scale up and adapt our emergency response across the country. Since the escalation of the war in March, our teams have:

- Launched 23 mobile clinics across the country
- Conducted over 21,000 medical consultations
- Provided mental health support to over 17,000 people
- Distributed over 115,696 gallons of drinking water

Doctors Without Borders continues to call for the immediate protection of civilians, medical facilities, and health care and humanitarian workers. International humanitarian law must be respected.

Our teams were able to rapidly launch an emergency response immediately after the escalation of violence in Lebanon—but only with the support of donors like you.

Doctors Without Borders remains committed to providing lifesaving care for all our patients in over 75 countries around the world. Doctors Without Borders USA takes no government funding and relies on unrestricted funds from private donors like you. This means that when an emergency strikes, we don't have to write grants or face red tape and restrictions before we respond—we can act fast and start saving lives immediately.
