For generations, refugees have risen to meet the moment. They’ve shown resilience in crisis, recovered from unimaginable storms and rebuilt their lives against all odds. Year after year, they strengthen society, joining networks of entrepreneurs, health care workers, educators, parents, community organizers and more. Refugees have—and will always—belong in our communities.

But in this moment, they face a new and profound chapter of uncertainty. Resettlement policies are shifting, their lives are being upended as humanitarian programs shutter and displacement is at an all-time high. We are at a critical crossroads. It is time—more than ever—to rise up with courage and determination alongside refugees.
