At Americares we are taking action and helping those right in our home state of Connecticut, providing health care to the people that keep our community running.

Fairfield County, CT has the second-highest income inequality among all metropolitan areas in the U.S.. Through a network of clinics across the county, Americares provides free, high-quality health care to low-income, uninsured residents.

Since 1994, the clinics have provided medical services valued at over $165 million to more than 28,500 people.

By offering free and ongoing care, Americares Free Clinics limits life-altering medical emergencies, decreases the cost burden on the overall health system, and allows our uninsured patients to live healthy lives and contribute to our community. At no cost, Americares Free Clinics offers community members access to patient visits, essential medication, diagnostic testing and specialty care.
