Save the Children is responding to historic flooding in western Washington, forcingtens of thousands of children and families to evacuate.
We'remeeting the immediate needs of kids and will be prioritizing:
-Supporting the immediate needsof children and families by providingessential items
-Distributing emergency cash assistanceto vulnerablefamilies
-Ensuring children have access to education
-Assessing the emotional needs ofchildren in crisis
Save the Children has been working in Washington State since 2008 to support over 77K children in rural communities, including the Quinault Indian Nation.
