For centuries, women have made incredible strides in multiple fields, shattering barriers and breaking ground in new ways that have transformed the world. From propelling advancements in medicine, science, space exploration, and tech to community-based innovations, women have risen to prominent leadership roles, steering committees, countries, and organizations toward progress and equality.
When we address the root causes of the challenges women are face, when we work
together to remove the hurdles in their path, women and girls have a chance of choosing the future they want. When this happens, we see benefits for everyone – production and incomes increase, families are better able to face shocks and stresses, and we see lasting, positive changes within communities.
