Americares Responding: Myanmar-Thailand Earthquake
โดย AMERICARES FOUNDATION INCA powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on March 28, causing widespread devastation across the region. As of March 31, the death toll has surpassed 1,700, with thousands more injured and many still missing. The situation is dire in one of Asia’s most vulnerable countries that’s already grappling with a humanitarian crisis.
Americares has deployed an emergency response team in the region to coordinate with partners on the ground, mobilize critical medical supplies, support frontline health workers and first responders and ensure survivors have access to urgently needed health care. We are also exploring ways to provide emergency funding to trusted local partners delivering care on the ground.
