Doctors Without Borders is responding to the unprecedented humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Donate now to ensure we are ready to respond to emergencies around the world.
efter Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)In more than two years of all-out war, Israeli forces have systematically destroyed the conditions necessary for life in the Gaza Strip.
People desperately need basic necessities like medical care, food, water, fuel, and adequate shelter. An immediate sustained and unimpeded flow of humanitarian assistance is needed into and across Gaza.
The more than 1,100 MSF team members working in Gaza right now—98 percent of them locally hired—are providing lifesaving care while also enduring the same harsh conditions as the patients they treat. Since October 2023, our teams have:
- Provided over 1.4 million outpatient consultations.
- Performed over 20,400 surgical interventions.
- Assisted in delivering over 19,500 babies safely.
- Provided over 83,500 individual mental health consultations.
- Distributed safe drinking water through desalination plan support, water trucking, and by establishing points of access for safe water.
Humanitarian conditions remain extreme. The health system is nearly non-functional, with many specialized services like burn care unavailable. In 2025 alone, MSF provided 800,000 consultations, assisted in 1 in 3 births, and supported 1 in 5 hospital beds.
MSF remains committed to providing lifesaving care for our patients in Gaza and other emergencies around the world, including rising needs in Sudan, Afghanistan, Ukraine, and over 75 countries around the world.
MSF USA takes no government funding and relies on unrestricted funds from private donors like you. This means that when an emergency strikes, we don't have to write grants or face red tape and restrictions before we respond—we can act fast and start saving lives immediately.
