CARE’s Women’s Economic Growth programs are transforming lives. Through Savings Groups, women come together, support one another, and invest in their families and dreams. Last year alone, these community-led groups reached over 5 million people across 91 countries. Together, these women saved $1.8 billion and generated nearly $19 in long-term economic benefits for every $1 invested. That’s the power of collective action.

When women gain access to savings, credit, and business training, they launch businesses, lift families out of poverty, and create new jobs. If just 10% of women in CARE savings groups started a business, six million new jobs could be created worldwide.
