WCK's Response to Heavy Rains & Flooding in Texas (July 2026)
przez WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN INCORPORATEDWorld Central Kitchen is responding in Boerne, Texas where parts of Hill Country remain under a Flash Flood Emergency. Heavy rains in southern Texas have resulted in dangerous flooding which locals say is the worst in 20 years. Over 75 people have already been rescued from the rising floodwaters. Our teams are mobilizing to make sure first responders and the community have the food and water they need. This remains a quickly evolving situation.
This is not the first time our teams have responded in Hill Country. One year ago, WCK served meals to first responders and families after flooding sent the Guadalupe River to its second-highest level on record. We know these communities—and we are on our way.
WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need.
By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made, nutritious meals to communities impacted by disasters quickly and effectively. We know that good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis.
With over 600 million meals served globally, WCK continues to bring relief, one plate at a time. Your donation today fuels this mission—helping us reach more people, faster, when they need it most.
