Earth Day 2025: How you help WCK keep pace with changing disasters

This Earth Day, we’re reflecting on the challenges ahead—and the strength that comes from being ready.

As climate-related disasters become more frequent and unpredictable, our teams must adapt and act fast. Your support of World Central Kitchen's Climate Disaster Fund will help us continue responding with the urgency of now—meeting families on the frontlines of climate disasters with comforting meals and community-led care.

A growing number of disasters WCK responds to are climate-related. Just this year, WCK has responded to six major climate disasters—including in Australia, Mayotte, and the United States (Arkansas, California, North Carolina, Texas, and more). Through our Climate Disaster Fund, we’ve responded to 56 climate-related emergencies in 25 countries since 2021.

Every meal begins with someone like you. Your donation helps our teams stay ready to serve families impacted by disaster and conflict.

$25 can provide 17 sandwiches for families traveling to a safer place.
$75 will help us cook warm, nourishing meals for 15 people.
$150 can provide a family of 4 meals for a week.
$300 will help stock WCK kitchens with essential ingredients and equipment.
