WCK's Response to Severe Flash Floods in Spain (Oct. 2026)
di WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN INCORPORATED
WCK is responding to severe flash flooding in Madrigueras, Spain after heavy rains from the DANA storm system struck overnight. Our teams are already serving meals to affected community members. We have deep experience responding to floods in Spain, having supported communities during Storm Leonardo earlier this year and the Valencia DANA in 2024.
WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need.
By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made, nutritious meals to communities impacted by disasters quickly and effectively. We know that good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis.
With over 880 million meals served globally, WCK continues to bring relief, one plate at a time. Your donation today fuels this mission—helping us reach more people, faster, when they need it most.
