WCK's Response to Wildfires in Chile (Jan. 2026)
di WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN INCORPORATEDWorld Central Kitchen’s Relief Team is on the ground in Chile, providing meals south of the capital, Santiago, as deadly wildfires force tens of thousands of people to evacuate their homes. Chilean President Gabriel Boric has declared a state of catastrophe in two regions, while first responders battle more than two dozen active fires.
WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need.
By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made, nutritious meals to communities impacted by disasters quickly and effectively. We know that good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis.
With over 600 million meals served globally, WCK continues to bring relief, one plate at a time. Your donation today fuels this mission—helping us reach more people, faster, when they need it most.
